Hobbies that require creativity, such as creative writing, drawing, and DIY projects, might boost your success and happiness by lengthening and repeating your happy moments. </p>
<p data-mce-fragment="1">The science underlying why hobbies help to improve mental health is also not fully understood; it may be a serotonin or endorphin-raising activity, like physical activity, or it may be that engagement with something other than your negative thoughts, or your obligations can be both a welcome break and a positive influence. Whatever the reason, engaging in a hobby—be it writing stories, learning card tricks, or anything else—has a favourable impact on your mental health. </p>

<p>Lucent Innovation recently organized a memorable trip for its employees to the Serene Midas Resorts, nestled in a peaceful location amidst lush vegetation. The itinerary for the trip included one night and two days with the stay being a perfect combination of traditional art and modern amenities, an ultimate setting for soothing mind and body.  <br>The resort’s picturesque and tranquil setting made for an ideal opportunity for team members to participate in a variety of activities, ranging from adventure sports to group games. The team was able to have fun, appreciate each other's company, and nurture relationships that would be extremely useful at work.  </p>

Forgetting to mention the incredible food would be an unforgivable oversight; Every meal was scrumptious and we were impressed by the delicious food they served.

<p>Apart from the adventure activities, the trip also included some fun games and team-building exercises. These activities were designed to be fun and engaging, bring out the best in each team member and help them understand their strengths and weaknesses. </p>

After a full day of activities and adventure, the team had some time to rest and relax. <p>Day 2 begun with an early morning jungle trek, an interesting activity to feel the nature all around and it was quite refreshing when compared to the concrete jungle of the city. How to forget the amazing jeep safari; It was a paradise for photography lovers as they captured beautiful and amazing pictures of the sunset and flora &amp; fauna.  </p>

<p>The chance to speak and share things with the top leaders was one of the trip's highlights. The senior leadership staff was present the entire time and took part in all of the games and activities. This helped break down the hierarchy and create a level playing field for all the members. </p>
<p>The trip had a significant impact on the team, and the effects were seen in the office environment after the trip; team members were more motivated and engaged at work. The teamwork and collaboration among the employees had improved vastly and were able to communicate better with each other, which helped to streamline the work process and improve efficiency. </p>

Human Leadership: Its Increasing Significance and Importance

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Diwali- A time of new beginnings, a celebration of good over evil, and a festival of light, fulfillment, and prosperity. For us, it is a time to clear out the old and make room for something new. Although there is extensive cleaning of homes and offices, it is also a time for introspection and inner purification. We should all examine our hearts and minds around Diwali and ask ourselves, "What cleansing needs to be done here?" We should be made immaculate, and a home suited for the Divine, just as we sweep out the shadowy corners of our homes. To make a place for empathy, forgiveness, and love, it is essential to let go of past grievances, resentment, and judgments.</span></p>

<p><strong>This year Lucent Innovation thought - Can we think of a different way to celebrate Diwali?</strong></p>
<h2><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>How about bringing a smile to someone's face?</strong></span></h2>
<p><strong>How about spending time with people who are lonely and crave a bit of company, laughter, and joy? </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">The joy of giving not only materialistic things but your compassion, time, and companionship.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So, we decided to invite underprivileged kids from Robinhood Army, Ahmedabad, and elderly people from Karmyog Foundation, Chandkheda.</span></p>
<br>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These underprivileged kids are vulnerable to many kinds of harm, from poor access to education and health care to an increased risk of exploitation and other forms of abuse. So, we thought to bring a smile to their faces and give them a space to enjoy themselves. The kids had a bang and enjoyed every stall right from having pani puri to playing various games to relishing cakes and pastries. There were 55 kids, and everyone had a lovely time. They were full of smiles when we gave them gifts. Our Diwali event was a blast because there was nothing better than looking at the smiles on their innocent faces.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We also invited some elderly from the Karmyog foundation in coordination with Mr.Chirag Vajha.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">It was satisfying to see the elderly enjoying the companionship of people. They became young kids again and had fun in the various stalls.</span></p>
<h2><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>We are thankful to Robinhood Army as well as Karmyog Foundation for their support. </strong></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coming to the main event we named it <strong>Luminous.</strong> The concept was that different teams had to create stalls and the judgment was based on their creativity, marketing techniques, the rush of people, etc. Everyone came up with different stalls and it was amazing to see different people come together and utilize their strengths to succeed. They had a blast serving pani puris and doing marketing by different Bollywood dialogues. A brilliant idea with good costumes, they were ringing a bell and attracting people towards them. Their soda and pan were a hit. Their stall too was decorated attractively. Their team worked hard playing to each other's strengths. The children enjoyed different milkshakes along with pizza and dabeli. They worked like a well-oiled machine planning things well in advance and performing flawless execution. We were very fortunate to host these esteemed personalities and gain knowledge from them.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Similarly, Lucent Innovation has completed 9 years and stood firm amidst all the harrowing challenges of the pandemic too. 2022 has brought upon us several opportunities and celebrations like moving to a new office.</span></p>
<p><strong>When we moved here, we set up an environment of creating a positive work culture filled with games, recognition, and challenges too.</strong></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">Why have we started a culture of celebration at Lucent Innovation?</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Celebrations cause the brain to release "feel good" hormones, according to research. One such chemical is serotonin, which is well known for promoting feelings of well-being, boosting drive, and reducing stress. Another is oxytocin, which is excellent for fostering collaboration and relationships.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The evidence is self-evident. A celebration is a surefire approach to promoting a culture of unity, productivity, and enjoyment at work.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">We celebrate work anniversaries.</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No matter how big or little, work anniversaries provide an opportunity for us to include the workforce and strengthen the culture of celebration. Employees will go from being the new child to seasoned pros within their first year. They'll have accomplished a lot and successfully navigated the workplace scanner. The majority will mark the anniversary of their first day and consider how far they've come. We take advantage of this opportunity to recognize what our team has contributed to the positive points and demonstrate how much we cherish our relationship with them.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This year we celebrated our <strong>75th Independence Day</strong> with a lot of fun with the children. These children are full of amazing talent and taught us a lot many things. Their skills in drawing and painting as well as showing off their sword skills was incredible and full of surprises. The <strong>Janmashtami</strong> celebration was divine as the atmosphere was filled up with prayers and chanting for Lord Krishna.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a matter of faith and devotion, Lord Ganesha is worshiped. On this day, Ganesha was given an elephant head to bring him back to life. The god of knowledge, learning, and fortune is Parvathi and Shiva's son. Before starting any task, the name of Ganesha is chanted, which is seen to be extremely fortunate and auspicious. Some people even keep the portrait of Lord Ganesha on their entryway to allow pleasant vibrations to come into the house/office.</span></p>

In his 1943 article "A Theory of Human Motivation" in Psychological Review, Abraham Maslow put forth his theory known as "Maslow's hierarchy of needs." </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;" data-mce-style="font-weight: 400;">Maslow classified the needs that humans need as follows.</span></i></p>

The compensation that enables workers to maintain their standard of living and achieve financial independence is one of their essential needs in a job. Their health and wellness are likewise driven by these needs. To advance to the next level, employees must first satisfy this requirement.<br><br>

<li>The next step is having secure employment and a solid work environment. If they do not meet these security criteria, the employees won't be happy with their positions. Employees would like to feel protected in their employment and unaffected by the ambiguity of the labor market.<br><br>

<p><br><br><strong>But is this theory still relevant and applicable in 2022 when the global workforce is going through a crisis due to the COVID19 pandemic?</strong><br><br></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;" data-mce-style="font-weight: 400;">Since I work in HR, I have come up with a few ideas to deal with the hierarchy of employee involvement after the epidemic.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" data-mce-style="font-weight: 400;">Encourage individuals to lead healthy lifestyles via corporate health applications, employee support programmes, and digital mental wellness solutions.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" data-mce-style="font-weight: 400;">Holding brief, informal sessions with the staff and constantly communicating in a generic way.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" data-mce-style="font-weight: 400;">Digital platforms for rewards and recognition must be implemented immediately to address this problem. For employees who work remotely, the digital recognition tool raises their spirits and maintains the feedback culture. And giving people who are at work baskets and treats.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" data-mce-style="font-weight: 400;">Employers can encourage self-actualization by giving remote employees access to online learning resources. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The term lucent refers to something that is luminous or emits light.So the name of the  company  Lucent Innovation was inspired by this word.  It is established by two young folks who aspired to be entrepreneurs and succeeded in doing so. Mr. Ashish Kasma is a software engineer who has worked for firms such as Accenture and Wipro. He brings 8 years of industry experience and skills to the table. Mr. Nitesh Kasma is a pharmacologist who left his work as a toxicologist to start this business. Mr. Ashish Kasma, on the other hand, developed and managed Lucent's technology. Mr. Nitesh Kasma put his expertise to work in the company's business development department. From being an e-commerce solution partner to providing new Global Digital and software services to enterprises that have expanded tremendously and continue to do so, the company has thrived.</span></p>
